Senior and Junior Forest Technologists, Experienced Timber Cruisers, Compassman

Senior Forestry Technologists
These individuals will be expected to supervise field crews as well as carry out timber reconnaissance surveys, cutblock and road layout, Site Plan data collection, and forest health surveys. Preference will be given to those individuals with an RFT designation.

Junior Forestry Technologists
These individuals will assist in cutblock and road layout and be the compass people for various surveys. The successful applicants will have forestry related field experience and/or be a graduate from a technical institute.

Experienced Timber Cruisers
These individuals will have cruising experience and be capable of producing cruise plans and designs. Experience in the Rocky Mountain Forest District is definitely an asset.

Compassman
These individuals will be compassing for the Timber Cruisers. Experience running a compass is an asset but not required. Training will be provided.
