ENGINEERING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Currently we are recruiting for a Project Engineer / Engineering Assistant for a field-oriented position based out of Prince George office for clients in various resource industries throughout British Columbia. IFS offers a comprehensive benefit package and wage commensurate with experience.

DUTIES:
Examples of duties on engineering projects may be assigned include:

1. Duties on various Engineering Projects such as road location, reconnaissance and survey.
2. Bridge site survey, assessments, and inspections.
3. Road and /or Bridge design using RoadEng.
4. AutoCAD design drawings.
5. Supervise engineering phase work for multiphase projects.
6. Construction supervision / client liaison.
7. Assist to Operational Forestry Crews on an as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preference given to applicants with a Degree or Diploma in Forest, Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and RoadEng is an asset.
• Field experience in the natural resource industries is considered an asset.
• Able to work with others in a team environment.
