Position(s): Engineering Specialist(s) - Roads and Bridges

Forsite employs a professional staff of over 100 in 6 locations throughout British Columbia and requires full time and seasonal staff interested in career growth in all operations. Forsite is seeking Engineers, Engineers in Training, Engineering Technicians and Assistants to support project teams with field data collection, inspections and supervision, design work, and report preparation. Support also includes but is not limited to participating in:

• Bridge and road site surveys
• Bridge design and engineering
• Heavy equipment supervision
• CAD (AutoCAD preferably)
• Project management

Requirements

• Enrolled in, or graduated from, a post secondary engineering degree or diploma program. Preference will be given to civil, environmental or forestry engineering specialties.
• Eligibility for registration in a professional association such as the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC) www.apeg.bc.ca, or as a Technologist with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC (ASTTBC) www.asttbc.org.
• Valid driver's license
• Good interpersonal skills
• Initiative and an intuitive ability
• Willingness to work in adverse environments and conditions
