Senior Forestry Engineers Required

DRH Forestry Consulting, a Vancouver Island based multiphase forestry engineering company that specializes in forestry management is seeking experienced senior forestry engineers. As a senior forestry engineer, you will report directly to the manager and will be responsible for all aspects of forestry engineering including leading and supervising field work as well as the completion of all office work. In addition, interested applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Degree or Diploma in Forest Technology.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the ABCFP with a minimum of 5 years coastal road and cutblock layout experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate good knowledge of current Forest Practices legislation as well being familiar with private lands forest regulations.
• Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
• Be able to illustrate experience with crew management and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
• Experience with GPS, Arcview, and Roadeng software.
• Hold a valid BC Driver's License.
