SERVICES JOIN A GROWING MUNICIPALITY AND LEAD A THRIVING FORESTRY PROGRAM As Canada's capital, the Ottawa region is a vibrant, diverse, and growing community that prides itself on its exceptional quality of life. The Public Works and Services Forestry Services Division is responsible for all trees on City-owned property including those along our city streets, in parks, ravines, woodlots, and our community forests. Forestry Services has a mandate to increase, enhance and preserve forest cover in the City of Ottawa through tree planting, maintenance, and community forest management programs. It also develops and manages tree preservation/protection policies and programs and provides many outreach programs to the public about our City's trees. The City of Ottawa is looking for an experienced, motivated and passionate individual with proven management skills to lead, develop and manage the City of Ottawa's Forestry program.
