Forestry Technicians

Central Interior Mapping Co Ltd (CIMCO) is a forestry consulting firm based in Quesnel, BC. For 14 years we have been providing professional timber and silviculture services to our clients. The majority of our work is based in Quesnel, with minimal camp work.

We are currently looking for forestry technicians with experience in timber and/or silviculture to help with our licensee and Forests for Tomorrow commitments. Job duties may include:

• Road & Cutblock Layout
• SP Data Collection and reports
• Timber Cruising
• Surveys: stocking, free growing, walk through assessments
• Survey Planning
• Project Supervision including planting, brushing and mechanical site preparation
• Fertilization Trials and data gathering
• Digital Mapping
• GPS Traversing
• First Nations contract supervision and training

Positions are full time; wages commensurate with experience.
